Snapshots from DC

Yesterday was a loooong day. But I made it to DC, walked through a very short but strong hailstorm, had lunch with my mom and stepdad, then took a long walk to Georgetown. I love walking anywhere, but cities I don't know that well and get to visually explore, on a sunny day no less? Awesome. I needed to clear my head and that two-mile walk sure did it. I'll be posting about the gargantuan lines at some of the Georgetown bakeries; I'll have to come back to try them, and come in the morning.
