Shame of Cambridge students after drunken Bank Holiday party in park ruins family picnics
With blistering temperatures on a bank holiday weekend, it was the perfect opportunity to soak up a little sun, go for a walk, or perhaps fire up the barbecue. But for the leaders and thinkers of tomorrow it was just another chance to become recklessly drunk. Around 1,000 Cambridge University students gathered for Caesarian Sunday, a riotous party in a city centre public park to mark the beginning of the summer term. Visitors to Jesus Green, including many with children, were subjected to views of students fighting, stripping off, vomiting and urinating in bushes and flower beds. Read More....
