Video of Democratic Pollster: Media Likes to Make Bachmann Out to Be an Idiot

This from former Dem pollster Pat Cadell:
When it comes to double standards, Caddell said that if Barack Obama were to say there were 57 states, not many would pay heed. But the same can't be said for Bachmann.

"If you're her, or Sarah Palin, or someone [the media] doesn't like, any mistake you make is blown up."

Caddell also commented on the need for presidential candidates to push back against the mainstream media when it comes to being the pawn in a game of "gotchya!"
The segment:
And from a prior post: Sarah Palin makes small mistake about North Korea. Sheila Jackson Lee thinks there are 2 Vietnams. Guess which one makes the news? Palin called out Obama regrading that made-up controversy:

My fellow Americans in all 57 states, the time has changed for come. With our country founded more than 20 centuries ago, we have much to celebrate – from the FBI’s 100 days to the reforms that bring greater inefficiencies to our health care system. We know that countries like Europe are willing to stand with us in our fight to halt the rise of privacy, and Israel is a strong friend of Israel’s. And let’s face it, everybody knows that it makes no sense that you send a kid to the emergency room for a treatable illness like asthma and they end up taking up a hospital bed. It costs, when, if you, they just gave, you gave them treatment early, and they got some treatment, and ah, a breathalyzer, or an inhalator. I mean, not a breathalyzer, ah, I don’t know what the term is in Austrian for that…
Tip of the iceberg if get my, err... drift. Of course, the liberal media ignore the above, and episodes lik this: Video: Smartest President in History Barack Obama Confuses Iraq and Afghanistan - Claims Combat Operation Over In Afghanistan. If only the MSM would have reported what Obama was really like during the campaign, he may not be President right now:
This is the same guy that thought there are 60 states in the union (visited 57 of them with 1 left to go minus Hawaii and Alaska):
How is it again that Palin and Bachmann labeled as dumb in light of the above? The latest of course is what Ed Morrissey refers to as Great moments in journalism: “Are you a flake?”
I can understand why Chris Wallace asked this question.  Given his guest’s propensity for gaffes, such as picking the name of a dead hero as a  live Medal of Honor winner, botching a toast to Queen Elizabeth II, discussing the high points of the Austrian language, and several references to a military medic as a “corpseman,” it might be hard to take the person seriously.

Oh, wait — Wallace wasn’t interviewing Barack Obama after all:
Above video via Gateway Pundit. Ed also points these other gaffes out:
Did any of the national media ask Barack Obama in the summer of 2008 if he was a “flake”?
Not then, nor now. Instead they are painting Bachmann to be an idiot that she is not but our community organizer-in-chief does indeed appear to be. And for the record, Bachmann is not accepting the latest apology for blatant sexism:
