Michele Bachmann: We’d Be Better Off If President’s Cabinet Had at Least Run a Lemonade Stand

Typical of the ruling class, they dictate in areas where they have no experience whatsoever, like the mythical private sector that they only read about in some liberal textbook. Bachmann calls out not only Obama but his whole cabinet as well:
A lemonade stand might be a tough start though because of the same liberal policies and red tape put out by busybody bureauweenies. For instance: Again? Police in GA shut down girls' lemonade stand
Police in Georgia have shut down a lemonade stand run by three girls trying to save up for a trip to a water park, saying they didn't have a business license or the required permits.

Midway Police Chief Kelly Morningstar says police also didn't know how the lemonade was made, who made it or what was in it.

...The girls needed a business license, peddler's permit and food permit to operate, even on residential property. The permits cost $50 a day or $180 per year.
The same government that is ignoring an invasion of illegal immigration and refuses to profile terrorists has no problems going after lemonade stands run by our children: Good Grief: Kids Lemonade Stand At US Open Fined $500 And Shut Down
And from an earlier post: Good Grief: GA Police Close Down A Girl Scout Cookie Stand

A similar situation cropped up in the People's Republic of California last year: Video: Police shut down 7 year old girl's lemonade stand! Hey kid - you got a permit?

So perhaps running a lemonade stand is not appropriate for Bachman to demand of Obama's minions since our obese over-government has become exceedingly efficient at keeping us safe from the drink made by schoolchildren and sold on their front lawns.
