Obama: I’m Dealing with Debt Issue Like Lincoln Dealt with Slavery or Something

Obama fancies himself a great President/messiah. Does he believe himself to be signing some form of Proclamation of the same magnitude as the Emancipation Proclamation declaring freedom for all slaves? (Ironically, raising the debt ceiling has the effect of enslaving Americans to higher taxes and debt via massive deficit spending) Or is he simply declaring war on prosperity? Probably a little of both:

During a discussion with college students at the University of Maryland last week, President Obama compared his current struggles with the debt ceiling debate negotiations with Abraham Lincoln and the Emancipation Proclamation.

Contrary to Obama's assertion that slavery was the greatest moral challenge the country ever faced, I would argue abortion is a greater challenge. After all, at least slaves were allowed to live. The death toll to unborn babies stands at 51+ million and continues to rise with the approval of Obama who not only favors abortion during all 9 months of pregnancy, but infanticide as well having voted 4 times as an Illinois Senator to allow the barbaric practice of leaving born crying babies in soiled linen closets to die of exposure.
