At a House Foreign Affairs Committee markup, Congressman Ackerman blasted a Republican amendment, which would defund the Global Climate Change Initiative, because they "believe" climate change is fictitious.

The onus on the alarmists is to prove that global warming is man-made, not to challenge skeptics to prove that it is not happening.
