'It aint' over til it's over'-DJ Khaled feat. Mary J. Blige,Jadakiss & Fabolous

DJ Khaled's "We the best Forever" is in stores and Khaled is on a mission.  Hot off of 'I'm on one', Khaled comes with another hit and this time he enlists heavyhitters, Mary, Jadakiss and Fabolous.  Mary J. Blige commands this track and Jadakiss and Fabolous hold their own too!  What do you think? Take a listen:

The BET Awards 11 just aired on this past Sunday and again on last night.  Mary J. Blige opened the star-jam-packed- event with some of her classics and then ended her set with a song you may or may not have heard yet.  Well, the song is entitled 'It ain't over ('til it's over)', and it is from DJ Khaled's soon to be released "We the Best Forever".  The song features Mary of course and fellow Yonkers native Jadakiss and Fabolous.  The unit have already shot a video for the song a few days ago, that should be impacting TV really soon.  Fresh off of 'I'm on one', Khaled seems to be in 'GRIND' mode right now.  Take a listen of the track and see what you think.

WTF Moment: Lil' Wayne & DJ Khaled #betawards edition

 Last night's BET AWARDS was filled with many WTF moments, but this one stood out to me.  CAN SOMEONE PLEASE CAPTION THIS FOR ME?

I was like, wow, MONSTERS! The song and performance was on point!  One of my favorite songs of the summer so far.  But this image just scares me just a bit.  It looks like a BIG OWL trying to feed a little hatchling fresh out the egg some food it had regurgitated in it's mouth for its young!  That was some vivid imagery i just came up with right!?  Maybe it's too much drugs on my part.  And when I say drugs, I mean pharmaceutical, OTC drugs, not the other stuff.  I am sure you guys know how annoying it is to have a cold in the summertime.  It's the worse!!!!!  So you take any and everything you have left from the winter to get over it.  So now I am 'high' so to speak, so whatever else comes out of my head, I am going to simply blame it on the Dayquil. 

Yeah, back to the pic. WTF is going on here?  Readers, let me know... LOL I am going to put my head down on a cold pack of chicken breasts.  Good night/afternoon.

 Hot 97.5 had it's annual Summer Jam concert at Giants Stadium on this past Saturday. As usual a bevy of stars were on had to promote their latest, and to shine and rock the stage alongside their contemporaries. Arguably, this jam is shaping out to be one of the 'songs of summer 2011', DJ Khaled's 'I'm on one', which features, Lil' Wayne, Rick Ross & Drake. This track is so smooth--it screams 'SUMMER BANGER'! The All-Star cast took to the stage to offer up an energetic live set! Take a look!

Summer of the "PUSH"-'Carter IV'-DELAYED,DJ Khaled-DELAYED!

Like Tisha Campbell sings, "Push...You got to Push... You got to push it til you get it right!"  That seems to be the mantra in the rap game this summer so far.  It seems everybody's cd is getting the 'PUSH BACK'.  According to Weezy himself, he spoke to Sway months ago and said 'The Carter IV' was 'Finished'.  Did he mean 'finished' as is 'D.O.A', or 'finished' meaning complete?

 Well according to Universal Records, the home to Young Money/Cash Money Records, the new release date for Wayne's highly anticipated 'Carter IV' has been moved from June 21st to August 29th.  (Remember the initial release date was May 16th.) Wow, that's quite a push, one might even call that a shove!  No word as to why the delay.  Even with a single that is hotly bubbling right now, 'How to Love', where Wayne takes his hand at 'sing rapping', like his protege Drake has been known to do on occasion, there is still this album delay.  Hmmmm? I wonder if it has anything to do with the mixed reviews some of the album's singles have been getting?  Well at any rate.  Those that were eager to cop that disc on June 21st, sit on your hands because you will have to wait until the end of the summer.

Elsewhere in YoungMoney/Cash Money world, DJ Khaled took to Twitter to say that his 'We the Best Forever' disc has been pushed back to July 19.  Even with 'I'm On One' featuring Rick Ross, Lil' Wayne & Drake (which is shaping up to be one of the songs of the summer) steadily climbing the rap charts, there is still a delay on the project.  The summer is most definitely going to be hot!  We are just going to have wait a little longer for it.
