A CHALLENGE TO THE PORN COMMUNITY

A Challenge to the SL Porn Community

I took a break from SL porn. I haven't worked on any porn movies of my own since February. I'm planning to get back in soon, but something has been on my mind...
I've always tried to tell a story with my movies. Originally, they were homages to 70's porn flicks, with cheesy plots and dialog. The last two, "Serving It Up Hot" and "Life Goes On" (written by Groove Taurus and Ainsley Wirefly) had more developed stories and characters. The next movies I do will experiment more with storytelling.
Other directors are advancing the state of technical effects, adding more realism and producing professional quality special effects. For example, Serenity's work with 3D and HaileyMarie's "Sultrina" are expanding the boundaries of SL porn and inspiring a lot of creativity from the SL porn community. (Please don't be offended if I didn't mention your name and your achievement here. A lot of you have done some great work in storytelling, voice acting, special effects, and more.)
Yet I still see movie after movie being posted that are basically music videos with sex. I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that. Some of them are shot well and have nice effects and lighting. But I can't help but wonder what some of these directors could do if they tried to create something more.
In just the year that I have been involved with the SL porn community, the movies have advanced dramatically through the hard work and creativity of a few. Imagine what the next year may bring if more of us worked as hard to make SL porn better than it is today.
This is my challenge to the community. Don't keep making the same movie over and over. Come up with something new. Try something no one else has tried. Give us stories that draw us in. Make MOVIES, not just sex videos set to music.

WHAT THE PORNSTARS ARE WEARING: Sultrina Release Party

Hello Aurora Bentham here again to give you another fashion lowdown of what was hot this weekend. HaileyMarie Redrose had her release party of Sultrina. Which I was so happy to be able to attend. Despite the sim crash partway.

OMG HE'S STILL HARD!!
Not even deadly tornados can stop the great Hard Rust, owner of Hard Alley.

It's a Twister! It's a Twister!
I was lucky. Wednesday, April 27, was unbelievable.
We had already had a couple of Tornado Warnings as early as 6am that morning, but we kind of blew them off. I was sleepy and I grew up in the South so Tornado Warnings were not terribly alarming to me. For the last few years, most tornadoes had tracked north or south of us and 1989 was the last time one hit close (just a mile from my office, it wiped out my father-in-law's apartment building and killed nearly 20 people). I had grown complacent and barely talked myself into getting up to check the weather reports.
By the time I had the TV on, the storm had already passed but had done some major damage to the south of us. At this point, the TV Weather people were saying we were in the clear until around 3-4pm, when they expected the worst of the storm to hit.
Schools were delayed a couple of hours so I stayed home from work and took my son to school around 10am. The skies were already looking strange with that greenish glow that anyone who lives in tornado prone areas would recognize.
An hour later, they announced school would be letting out just after noon because of the weather. I finished what work I could and went to get my son. By the time I got there, we were under another Tornado Warning and as it is school policy not to release kids under a warning, I and a hundred other parents sat in the parking lot, waiting. The sky to the west was pitch black. That wasn't good. The rain started off heavy and got worse. Within minutes it was so thick I could not see the car in front of me. The hail started to pound the car so hard I thought the windows would break. I could not see it at the time, but trees (big trees) were snapping and even coming up by the roots all around us. Ten minutes later it cleared up and fifteen minutes after that they canceled the warning and school let out.
It wasn't a tornado, but only because it never touched down.
The rest of Alabama was not as lucky as I was and those students and other parents were. Tornadoes ripped through nearly every part of the state and killed and destroyed on a massive scale. I lived through the 1974 Super Outbreak, and this was worse.
Other than hail damage to the car and roof and some fallen trees, our biggest problem was having no power for five days, since the tornadoes decided to destroy over 80 power transmission lines feeding north Alabama.
With no power, stores could not open. People could not get gas or food. The water treatment plant was on a generator, so water was limited. All phone lines (land or cell) were out, so finding out if your relatives and friends were okay was nearly impossible. The local radio stations were our only way of knowing what was going on and how bad things really were.
It was a recipe for disaster and chaos.
Instead, it was one of our finest hours.
Within hours of the storms and the blackout, grocery stores were opening back up, running on generators, staying open as long as they could to allow people the chance to stock up on food and water. Thousands of volunteers from all over the state and other states began to arrive and help out. Power was restored to the badly overburdened hospitals and the water treatment plants. The radio stations kept everyone informed as to where they could get food and gas and when power might be restored and where to bring donations and where to go volunteer. Neighbor helped neighbor with whatever they needed to get by.
Slowly, we are recovering. Last night the power came back on at our house. Tomorrow I'll go back to work. For me, things will be almost back to normal.

DOUBLE XXX FEATURE: Two Little Rich Bitches Get What's Cumming!!!
Funny that two different directors came out with sexxxy films about little rich girls getting what's coming to them on the same day.
Both are good. But I'm going to spend a little more time on BARBIE WHORE, because it does a couple of really important things. First, it's the return to porn for Superstar Aurora Bentham. It also features her voice doing the narration. It's wonderful to hear her and adds to the movie.
Maybe even more important, it's the PREMIERE MOVIE for BPN, the interacial roleplay site. They've put Aurora in charge of their movies and judging by this one, they've made a great decision.
This one has a great cameo by Hard Rust as Aurora's angry dad...and stars the very sexy Blackkingdom Radical as a cop who gives Aurora, the sexy little rich girl, just what she deserves.
They are a hot and sexy couple and as you can see the action is nonstop.
On the same day, Nadine Denja of Broken Tripod Productions came out with a two part move called TERRIBLE DINE. And Nadine is definitly a bad girl.
In the first film, there's a fun and sexy scene with her mom and dad (I don't know who played them. Nadine didn't include any credits in the film or in the write up!!!! Bad Pornstar!!!)

Are you an aspiring actor or actress looking to break into the SL Porn business? Here is my advice for you!
1. Make sure you are HOT and well equipped! Noob avies and freebie dicks won't get you cast. Anyone willing to spend about $20 US dollars to buy about 5K in Lindens can fix up their avie to pornstar levels.
2. Join the group ***The Pornstars***. Seldom a day goes by that director's don't put out a casting call looking for new talent. If you want to break into the business as an unknown, that is your best bet.

4. Have sex with directors. Seriously, the casting couch is an age old tradition that will get you in the door. Just make sure the director you are fucking actually produces movies.
Speaking of casting couches... mine is open and I am willing to fuck any hot actress that wants to throw herself at me. No promises that I'll put you in a movie, but having sex with me might improve your chances! *grins*
