Lumos Nail Duo Pack Has Got You Covered - and Protected!

I need a manicure that lasts and lasts.

If I'm not cooking, I'm cleaning. Or writing or cleaning. Or running errands or cleaning. I like to do my nails just once a week and get on with my life. But as I'm sure you know, that's a rarity because how can your polish last that long, especially when you're scouring the tub and cleaning the floors?

Famous Names LLC has created the Lumos Duo Pack that gives you exactly that!

The Instant Impact Bottom Coat gives you a smooth foundation on which to apply your polish and the High Speed Top Coat provides this teflon-like protection and high, high shine. The bottom coat adheres to the nail plate and coat above it, keeping it free of chipping and peeling and the top coat can be applied while your polish is still wet!

What is even more remarkable than how easily these go on is that Lumos "is the fasting drying product on the market," it won't yellow, doesn't reek of chemicals and your nails dry in only 10-12 minutes!

And it's not just an empty line. I was outta the door with my freshly painted lavender nails more quickly than I've ever been, thanks to Linda & Jim Nortdstrom of Famous Names LLC and their amazing Lumos products! And despite all the hard work I've done with my hands, my mani still looks fresh and pristine.

I'm going to be using Lumos products from now on. How about you?

Deborah Lippmann Nail Polishes Are Spectacular

I try and not only keep up with trends, but stay ahead of 'em.

But because I live in Canada, sometimes it can take awhile for products to not only get to us, but be able to be shipped to us.

So while I'd been hearing about Deborah Lippmann Nail Polish for years, it was near impossible for me to get. Lucky for me, times and postal agreements have changed and I finally got the opportunity to take a few for a test drive.

For me, nail polish has to be easy to apply. I'm not very good at it, so the smoother it goes on, the less I look like I've had my nails done by Frankenstein. Deborah Lippman's formulas are among the best I've ever used. So smooth and sleek without the teeniest goopiness. And the lacquer is thin, so you can apply just one or two coats with perfection. Maybe it's due to the absence of toulene, formaldehyde or DBP. Or maybe it's the addition of Aucoumea, Biotin and Green Tea. Or maybe it's simply that Deborah Lippmann r-o-c-k-s!

Normally, I steer clear of whites because they tend to look more like white-out than polish on me. But Like a Virgin is a sheer, clean white that's not too in-your-face. In fact, it's just perfect. It goes on evenly and has a nice gloss even before I've applied a top coat. How great is that?! It shows off my tan and looks modern, not wedding-y, which I've never experienced before with a white.

And sequins and glitter polishes often look great in the bottle, but are frustrating to put on - mismatched nails, uneven layers, more clear polish than glitter, etc. But with the most amazing confetti-in-a-bottle look I've ever seen, Happy Birthday (pictured above) doesn't disappoint. It covers the nail with an even coat of glitters and the more layers you apply, the more coverage you get. You can even layer it over Like A Virgin or other colours if you like, though I opted for the full effect (I like to celebrate). It is so gorgeous, with small and large sequins of various colours - silver, gold, red, blue, green - that I wish I had dresses and jewelry to match (something to think about Ms. Lippmann)!

I am now a lifetime lover and user of Deborah Lippman Nail Lacquers. I have hot nails that look professionally done.

Is your drugstore polish doing all that for you?

Shop the entire Deborah Lippmann Collection and don't forget the Celebrity Shades. They're next on my list...

OPI Gets Me Slick For Summer With Lemon Tonic & Serena Williams

Are your hands and feet in need of serious help but you don't have the time, money or energy for the salon?

I've got the perfect at-home treatment that it super affordable and easy to to. Just follow these steps:

1. Start with Manicure Pedicure by OPI Lemon Tonic Scrub. The natural sugar crystals gently, but effectively work away at your dry skin, calluses and other nasty bits (no judgement here, you should see my heels...).

2. Next, envelop your hands and feet in Lemon Tonic Mask. Just 5 minutes is needed to make a difference. The shea butter, botanical and citrus extracts work away to leave your skin oh-so-soft and smooth.

3. Finish with Lemon Tonic Massage. The emollients sink into your skin for a long-lasting velvety soft look and feel.

And while you're enjoying how pretty your hands and feet look and feel, you'll also be taking in the amazing lemon cupcake scent. Which, let's face it, the spa never has, so I'd say you're already ahead, not to mention with money and time to spare - woo woo!

So now let's talk colour.

OPI has unveiled 3 new shades from Serena Williams’ Glam Slam! Series. These awesome duo-packs are filled with sparkle. Serena is a serious nail lover and word has it that she is now a licensed nail technician, so you know that these weren't just thrown together for a press junket. These are her colours.

The first Lacquer set includes Your Royal Shine-ness, a metallic silver shade that looks like liquid metal, paired with Servin’ Up Sparkle, a shimmer-packed silver glitter that pops with purple, green and pink highlights.

The second Lacquer set also features Servin’ Up Sparkle, along with Grape…Set…Match, a juicy, decadent metallic purple that will convert those who don't normally rock the shade.

“For stand-out nails, I love experimenting with different glitter shades,” explains Serena Williams. “The new Glam Slam! England lacquers can be worn alone for a bright pop of color, or layered with Servin’ Up Sparkle to create a textured effect.”
New shades in the collection are being introduced later in  the year. For now, Glam Slam! England will be available beginning June 2011 at Professional Salons and Spas.

Who needs a salon when you've got OPI in hand?

Add Some Colour with Julep's Incredible Spring/Summer 2011 Collection

One of the best ways to add some pop to your wardrobe this season is to rock your nails in the latest brights.

Julep’s new Spring/Summer 2011 Collection reveals hot-off-the-runway colours that work with everything from your office wardrobe to weekends on the patio.

Free of toluene, formaldehyde and DBP, this is one of the thickest polishes I've ever tried. I did two coats out of habit more than anything, but I think you could get away with just one, no problem. Which means, it goes on twice as fast and will last twice as long.

Sweet.

And I love the tall, thin bottles. These look more like lip lacquers than nail polishes, don't they? What fun, and they don't take up as much space as your other polishes - so load up!

The new Spring/Summer 2011 Collection colours are absolutely fabulous. Let me introduce you to the lovely ladies.

Amy - I love, love, love this blue. It is deeply flattering and very ballerina feminine while maintaining its downtown edginess. It makes your black stuff look new again and paired with pink, orange or green clothes, it looks downright futuristic.

Gloria - This coral is pop modern and bright. It really accentuates a tan or if you don't have one, makes it look like you do.

Natalie - A sunny, but soft around the edges kind of pink goes with absolutely everything. Which is why you'll be wearing it long past the end of the warm weather.

You can purchase the Spring/Summer 2011 Collection individually or get 'em all together. Either way,  $1 will be donated to organizations that support women through Julep's Powered by Girlfriends program.

Summer just won't be complete without Julep's Spring/Summer 2011 Collection.

OPI's New Brights Collection - Pirates of the Caribbean - Is a Treasure Trove

With the new Pirates of the Caribbean: Stranger Tides opening in theatres, there's no better time to rock the new collection by OPI.

Skull & Glossbones - a gorgeous putty gray that looks edgy no matter what it's paired with
Mermaid’s Tears - a wonderfully soothing seafoam that is somehow quite feminine
Steady as She Rose - an impossibly light pink that should be called "I Do"
Planks a Lot - a deep, creamy lavender that reminds me of the grape ice cream of my youth
Sparrow Me the Drama - one of my favourite pinks of all time, so cheery and flattering
Stranger Tides - high-end and yet unusual, you'll be drawn to this like a bad boy

The line also includes a new Silver Shatter. Remember how much I loved Black Shatter? Well, the Silver is perfect for Spring/Summer. The shade leaves a two-texture silver finish, giving your nails a truly wicked look and giving longevity to your colour collection.

The lacquers go on super easy and clean, thanks to OPI’s exclusive ProWide Brush  and they don't have any DBP, Toluene, or Formaldehyde, so your nails look and stay healthy.

The is by far one of my favourite collections of all time. It features pretty and classic colours alongside futuristic ones, giving you something to wear for every mood and occasion.

OPI's Femme De Cirque - The Perfect Spring Accessory

I love the changeover from winter to spring.

Black clothing suddenly seems so goth and the warm air just begs for frothy dresses and lighter shades.

So OPI's new collection, Femme De Cirque, is ideal for spring.

The collection includes 3 pink hues and 1 sheer glitter coat that can be worn on its own or painted over the other lacquers for a completely new look.  They fit right in with the ultra feminine ballerina look that is hot this spring and will go with whatever outfit you choose.

Select from:
- In the Spot-Light Pink - cheery bubblegum pink
- Step Right Up! - delicate rose

Rock Your Nails (Just Like Katy Perry) with OPI's Black Shatter!

You've no doubt heard the insanity surrounding OPI's Black Shatter nail polish, featured in the Katy Perry Collection - salons can't keep it in stock and women can't get enough of it.

It's no wonder. This is one of the best innovations I've ever seen and man does it look wicked on!

The way it works is that you apply a polish as you normally would. Each colour you choose looks different when paired with Black Shatter. For example, the first time I tried it, I applied a putty gray,  which looked soo modern and chic. I tried it the second time with magenta, - I liked it on other girls when I saw it, but not on me. I think I'll stick with pale colours, but that doesn't mean that you have to. Rock it with dark blue if that's what makes you happy! I'm just too pale to pull off dark hues without looking vampy, I think.

It's hard to imagine how this works until you do it and see it for yourself. Thankfully, it's incredibly easy. Once you've put on your polish, swath Black Shatter over it. You cover your nail and for a moment, just a split second, you might panic (as I did) and think that you now have black nails. But just wait one more quick second and boom - the black starts to shrink and shrivel away, revealing your cool colour underneath! It is so fascinating to watch, and the results? Unbelievably cool!

I finished a glossy top coat to seal it and to keep it looking fresh and I went a whole week before I felt like they needed freshening up. Sweet.

The best part wasI could not stop looking at my nails and neither could other women. On the subway, in a store, ladies pulled my hands towards them and shrieked with delight. And then begged me to tell them where to get it!

I am completely addicted to Black Shatter. And word on the street is that pale shatter colours for Spring and Summer are coming.

Oh. My. God.

Shop OPI and get your own Black Shatter going on!

Discover Sexy Haute Nail Rock Designer Nail Wraps

Nail trends are showing that textures, patterns and unique looks are what's hot right now.

And there's no easier way to get a hot look for your nails than Nail Rock.

These designer nail wraps allow you to rock the latest styles without having to spend achingly-long hours painting your nails, waiting for them to dry and then having to paint a design on top of them. It's so easy to get a glam look of cheetah, Black Lace on White, Metallic Red or as I tried on, Metallic Lizard (pictured above, middle row-left column).

I was amazed that I was able to apply them with such ease. Usually these types of items say that they're easy to use, but actually require a lot of skill. In fact, it took just moments to apply all ten.

You simply clean, file and buff your nails. You choose the size of the wrap for each nail, just be sure you don't touch the adhesive. You apply the wrap against your cuticle and use your hairdryer on it for a few seconds until it becomes soft. Then you apply it firmly to one side of your nail and then reheat the wrap and do the other side. Heat everything again quickly and file off any excess material.

I know it sounds like a lot  - and truthfully, I thought it would take close to half an hour to do everything - but I was finished in under 10 minutes!

The look is so smooth and sleek - so much better than painted, don't you think? And I feel invincible with them on. I did everything I normally do - wash dishes, made homemade pizza, blow-dried my hair - and I didn't have to worry about my polish chipping or these babies staying on. They stuck on through all my daily activities, and yet, they were incredibly easy to remove! I thought I'd have to pry them off, but a few hits of heat from the hairdryer and they peeled right off, with just one nail left with a little bit of glue on it (which came off with one swipe of a nail polish remover daubed cotton ball).

Ooh, they are sexy! I want one of each design, don't you?!

If you want hot looking nails that are gallery opening, cocktail drinking and general going out worthy, you've got to get yourselves a bunch of Nail Rocks (you can get yourself 4 or 5 of these for the price of what you'd pay for a regular manicure!).

Nail Rocks rock. It's that simple.

Get yours now and have the most lusted after nails of the night.

Make the Switch to Toxin-Free Dr.'s Remedy Enriched Nail Polishes

I bet you're slowly switching over your home and laundry to more natural solutions.

Did you know that you can do that with your nail polishes too?

Dr.'s Remedy Enriched Nail Polishes are doctor formulated and do not contain the usual polish ingredients such as formaldehyde, DBP and toulene. Instead, they are enriched with tea tree oil, garlic bulb extract, vitamins C & E and wheat protein.

Podiatrists Dr. Adam Cirlincione and Dr. William Spielfogel created this line because patients were coming in with "brittle, discolored nails, often times associated with the harsh chemicals in commercial nail polish."

Isn't that great?!

But how do they go on? How do they look?

Sometimes natural products work differently than the ones you're used to. But I swear, these go on so easily, you can do just one coat if you like. And you know how pros say to do one swipe down the middle and then on either side? The brush and polish make that possible without going outside the lines.

A-m-a-z-i-n-g!

And the look?  Gorgeous! They are rich and luminous. And glossy even without a topcoat.

Their newest colours are fantastic. REVIVE Ruby Red is sumptuous and sexy. This classic colour works anytime of year. And since I'm still lovin' darks, DESIRE Dark Brown satiates my craving. And it's such a warm brown that it's incredibly flattering. It's one of the few browns that's made it into my regular rotation of colours.  And another shade that I think I'll wear in every season is HEALING Heather Grey. It's modern and chic and goes with absolutely everything - what's not to love?!

There are many other shades to fall for spring: POSITIVE Pastel Pink, MELLOW Mauve and VIGOR Violet.

Oh, and my manicures lasted for about a week, just like your toxin-filled drugstore ones, and my nails looked better, not worse after wearing.

Huh. That's new.

So which ones are you going to use?

Shop now for Dr. Remedy's Enriched Nail Polishes that make you - and your nails - feel good.

Be a CharmedGirl With OPI's Spring/Summer 2011 Texas Collection

This post is dedicated to one of my very favourite people - Carmen, resident of Houston, who also happens to love nail polish.

OPI's Texas Collection is super fun and super wearable.

This new series includes 12 polishes with 6 "sorbet-style" lacquers for Spring/Summer 2011. Instead of the thick, creamy, opaque application that you're used to with OPI polishes, some of these Texans go on like jelly shoes!

Take Big Hair... Big Nails, for example. The first coat looks a lot like watermelon jello  - a sheer summery pink that is incredibly flattering. It fits right in with the soft palettes of the season. But it transforms with the second coat, solid and super bright.  Ooh, I could wear this every week. Light and delicate one week and then vivid and bold the next. Two looks in one!

Too Hot Pink to Hold 'Em is a little more berry, but still a perfect look for the season. For added edge, Houston We Have a Purple is deep, but by no means goth-y.

Austin-tacious Turquoise looks like oceans and mermaids: shimmery aqua that dances in the light. So pretty! And Suzi Loves Cowboys is milk chocolate in a bottle. It's light, so wear one coat or two, depending your mood and cater it to your daily look.

Green can be hard to pull off for some (me!), but I love the life in Don't Mess With OPI. It's smart-witted and preppy without being odd, like some greens out there. In fact, I might just wear this as much as the pinks.

I covered just 6 of the 12 shades, so be sure to check out the entire line.  You'll be surprised and charmed by the Texas Collection by OPI

I sure am.

Discover the Enticing New Burlesque Collection from OPI

Now that New Year's is almost here, I bet you're looking for something a little eye-catching for the big night. Something with sparkle and pizazz.

The new Burlesque Collection by OPI brings with it much razzle and dazzle, but you'll be surprised by how wearable these glittery polishes are - you can rock them long after the ball's dropped.

I tried 4 out of the 12 colours:

- Glow Up Already! looks awfully green in the bottle, but it's quite golden when you put it on. There are flecks of red, orange, pink, blue and gold that go on quite smoothly with a clear base. You get a nice sparkle with just one coat and fantastic coverage with two. I came to like this one very much. It is modern and retro all at once.

- Sometimes you look at a colour and you think no way, it's too much. You might have that initial reaction to Sparkle-iscious, but work past it. It is like a long lost memory of being under a disco ball. Just think about how happy you feel dancing to your favourite songs. With blue, pink and gold glitter swirling around your nails, you'd be hard pressed not to feel good. And like Glow Up Already! you  can swath on just one coat for a hint of excitement or do 2 or 3 and bring the party wherever you go!

- I wasn't sure about Take The Stage at first. It's such a fiery copper. Could I pull it off? But it's smooth application, despite being a metallic (You know how you sometimes get those lines and ridges? Not with OPI) and unique shade grew on me. It is one of those colours that stands out without being too weird or obnoxious. In fact, it might in face become one of your go-to colours this season.

-A fantastic choice for brightening up these dull winter days is Let Me Entertain You! It's quite intriguing - dark raspberry with what looks like gold leaf flecked throughout. It's hot, yet classy. I think it's even work appropriate, but don't let it go to waste with just your office attire. This colour needs to break out every once in awhile, so be sure it is accompanied by a short, sassy dress and towering heels in between your work gear.

Celebrate the Holidays Head to Toe in Silver & Gold with CND - Creative Nail Design

I want to look glam this holiday, but I don't have the bucks to drench myself in diamonds.

However, I can glitter it up thanks to CND - Creative Nail Design.

Their new nail, hand, foot and body products are made just for this celebratory time of year.

Usually at this time of year, it's all about deep, dark colours for nails. I recently wore Raisin in the Sun  - a dark plum with rich brown undertones - to a media dinner and I got quite the compliments. For something a little more red, I'm rockin' Dark Ruby. Ooh, it's sexy!

For a rich, but not too heavy red, Bloodline is a great choice for the holidays. But as the trends show, winter is not just about dark polish anymore.  Chocolate Milk is a fascinating orangey-brown that will add definite edge and interest to your outfits and Muddy Rose is so pretty, don't be surprised if you wear this one for weeks at a time!

Light, pale neutrals are as necessary this season as dusky opaques. Desert Suede is one of those lovely colours that makes your hands look tanned and cared for. You don't need to go the whole ten yards with a french manicure. Just apply a layer or two of Putty - you'll be good to go.

One of the coolest ideas I've come across in nail care recently is CND's Effects line. Pearls, Shimmers and Sparkles are all add-ons that you top your colour with. You choose what effect you want!  I like Copper Shimmer and Gold Sparkle. Just think how this extends not only your polish, but allows you to constantly change your look!  Oh I love this! You can also get the boxed set - Silver & Gold Sparkling Effects -that makes your nails look glam in an instant.

Another trend this season is to have your nails either look glossy and wet or completely matte. CND makes it easy for you with Super Treaments! Box. And because you don't have all day to wait for your nails to dry, get CND's SolarSpeed Spray. It dries your nail quickly while conditioning them - sweet!

And speaking of conditioning your nails, the Snuggle Set includes their amazing SolarOil that conditions the nail and cuticles, a big bottle of Almond Hydrating Lotion for hands and a bonus pair of super soft toeless socks that allow you to do your toenails while keeping them nice and toasty.

Now while your nails may be all a glitter, that doesn't mean your skin can't be as well. Sparkling Champagne Scentsations Lotion leaves a golden shimmer on your skin. How is that for the perfect accessory this season? There is also the Sparkling Champagne Scentsations Lotion & Wash Pre-Pack that comes with the lotion, a lovely fragrant and thick lathering Body Wash with a free purse hook. And to stuff those stockings, the Scentsations Gift Trio has Cranberry, Champagne, and Black Cherry & Nutmeg Hand & Body Lotions to keep your skin soft and smooth no matter how much the temperature dips.

These are just a few reasons to shop CND this holiday. Find a store near you and get glam this season - in an instant!

Jessica Cosmetics Brilliance is High Gloss in a Flash

I put my hands through a lot every week. I cook, do dishes, move furniture, clean the toilet, take out the garbage, shampoo the cat, do the laundry, etc.

So while I wear nail polish all the time and love the look of painted nails, no matter how great the top coat, I usually have to redo my nails every couple of days. A week at the very most.

Until I used Jessica Brilliance.

This super glossy finish has kept my polish looking fabulous and super glossy for 10 days now. I haven't had to redo them for 10 days. Do you know how much time that's saved me? And every time I leave the house, I look down at my nails thinking, Damn, they look so good. How is that possible?

It's because:

1. UV inhibitors and reflective polymers work to keep them from chipping (along with yellowing and smudging)
2. Jessica ROCKS!

And it gets better - this new formula dries quickly so that you don't have to wait around for your nails to dry (thank you!) and you can reapply it through the week, so that you get that extra hit of gloss each and every time. Your nails will look salon professional even though you haven't left the house.

I used to dream about getting those gel nails done - the ones that last 2 weeks without chipping? Now I don't have to, all thanks to this one little miracle bottle.

I love you, Jessica. You have made it possible to live my life AND have fabulous nails that I don't have to fuss over.

Shop Jessica Cosmetics and change your life/nails.

Change Your Look This Season With Nicole by OPI Matte Lacquers

With lip glosses getting more lacquery and the season's hot patent leather accessories catching the light, aren't you tired of everything being so shiny?

That's why I think you're going to love the new Nicole by OPI Matte Lacquers.

These are very different than what you are used to.

First of all, they are not long wearing like your usual Nicole and OPI polishes

That's because you don't apply a "top coat, drying products or hand lotion when wearing Matte." But you can wear a base coat, which will keep it going for a couple of days longer than if you wear it on its own.

So it's a short-term look, but a great one.
I tried Positive Energy - a light silver (pictured above), and Razzle Dazzler - a dark gravelly black.

I love how edgy they look and how quickly it goes on. You'll also be pleased that there's no DBP, Toluene or Formaldehyde.

If you want to change things up, as I always do at this time of year, then you should get Nicole by OPI Matte Lacquers.

Discover Your Softest Hands & Feet With Manicure/Pedicure by OPI

I walk a lot in completely inappropriate shoes (towering heels, boots that just fit) and because I'm keeper of our household, my hands are always dry (from washing dishes, laundry, handling on the paper on my desk, scrubbing the tub, etc).

In other words, my hands and feet are often in rough shape.

But they are COMPLETELY TRANSFORMED, thanks to Manicure/Pedicure by OPI.

I tried their newest scent, Royal Verbena, which is pretty, floral and light.

I start off with their Scrub. Using natural sugar crystals, the scrub works away on my feet (which simultaneously does my hands - sweet!), which are dry and thick with calluses (running for the subway in my gladiator heels did the final damage). The botanical and citrus extracts immediately revive and rejuvenate my tootsies - Broadway, here I come!.

I don't work on them for long - 2 minutes, max. But already they feel really, really smooth (thank you, triple-action, fruit derived AHAs). That can't be right. It must just feel like that in comparison.

Hmmm.

I apply the Mask, which hydrates my skin even further with shea butter and citrus extracts. Ooh, it feels good.

When I remove the mask and go to apply the Massage cream, I am astounded by the texture of my feet (and hands, but my feet were so rough!!). As the emollients and antioxidant vitamins sink into my skin, my skin is hydrated and soothed and oh-so-soft.

It really is a completely indulgent, luxury at-home spa treatment.

And my skin completely transformed in only a few months and I found that my feet were smooth for almost 8 weeks before I roughed 'em up again.

I am hooked.

Get your own soft hands and feet right now.

OPI's Shrek Collection is Surprisingly Chic

Shrek is not the first thing that comes to mind when you think of fashionable items.

I was so thrilled by the unique and fresh colours:

- What's with the Cattitude? is a fresh and flirty blue. It's a little deeper than sky and looks fab against tanned skin.

- Fiercely Fiona is a really vintage-y lemony-lime. I like how Mad Men I felt wearing this, but with a definitive modern feel too.

- Who the Shrek are You? is a more avocado-appliances-meets-2010 kind of green. It's edgy and fun.

- Rumple's Wiggin' is the prettiest lavender.  It makes me think of chiffon bridesmaid dresses and hand-iced cupcakes.  Mmm. I couldn't stop wearing it!

- Funky Donkey & Ogre-the-Top Blue are bodacious choices. Your wardrobe will look brand new against these colours.

LA Splash Nail Polishes Are a Fashion Necessity!

I don't know how I came to know about LA Splash Cosmetics, but am I glad I did!

I loooove their Nail Polish.

They are everything you want:

- go on easy and even
- comes off without effort
- lasts despite a week of doing dishes, cleaning the house, putting together furniture and other assorted life stuff
- incredibly affordable (which means, you can get a bunch of 'em)

The colours are really vivid, with a hint of creamy sheen. So sexy!

I was wearing one of the Glitter Polishes interviewing a singer, when she picked up my hand and said how much fun she thought it was.

What a compliment!

And here's one of the best parts: Usually with glitter polishes, they are pretty goopy and go on quite uneven and rough. But LA Splash Glitter Polishes are completely smooth. And looong lasting - I wore it for a week without so much as a tiny chip.

If you're looking for fashion forward nail polishes that stand up to the demands of your life, LA Splash is where it's at!

Make the Switch to Karma Organic's Non-Toxic, Chemical Free Nail Polishes!

One of my favourite ways to accessorize is to don colourful, fun nail polish.

But all polishes are not made equal.

Karma Organic's line of non-toxic, chemical-free nail care products not only come in over 90 great shades, but they contain no Toulene, DBP, or Formaldehyde. They are safe for you and the planet and there's no harsh smell either.

The polish goes on nice and thick and is extremely long-lasting. I put it on Sunday night and they were just a few slight chips at the side by last night. And that's with me grocery shopping, writing, cleaning, cooking, etc.

I absolutely love that you can get glossy, matte and glow in the dark shades (it's nice to have the option of finish, isn't it?) and as I said, the colours ROCK. I got Oh, Tiff!, a lovely seafoamy, bluey-mint that people remarked on all week. And how hot is Crushed Velvet? I'm going to wear it for my beau's birthday dinner tomorrow night. I am going to get Concrete Jungle next because that cool gray looks good with everything and I love its modern, urban vibe.

But it gets even better!

Karma Organic's Nail Polish Remover is 100% soy based, which makes it 100% biodegradable, non-toxic and non-carcinogenic. It is free of any petroleum ingredients, is
derived from Farm Crops and packaged in 100% recyclable glass bottles.

But that's not even the best part.

It actually works! See, natural nail polish removers are often a nice idea, but they take a lot of scrubbing to get the polish to even start to come off. With Karma Organic's Nail Polish Remover, the polish came off cleanly and easily. And because it has soybean oil, your hands, nails and cuticles feel revitalized and nourished afterward, instead of completely dry and depleted with the drugstore removers.

You can get Unscented with Vitamin E Oil, Tea Tree or Lavender. I got Lavender, which has the added bonus of aromatherapy, which helps to make the whole process a little more indulgent and wonderful.

Thanks to Karma Organic's Nail Care Products, I'm going to look and feel great this summer!
