Ryan Seacrest is set to host of of the biggest music festivals of all time. And what better place to kick an event like this off but in SIN CITY, Las Vegas, NEVADA!!!
This is what Ryan Seacrest had to say about the event:
“This is a once in a generation gathering of artists and fans from all over the country for a true, must-see music event. The iHeartRadio Music Festival, like the iHeartRadio digital radio service, will showcase top artists across all genres of music. Listeners from all over America will travel to Las Vegas to celebrate the next generation of iHeartRadio, while seeing the greatest musicians in the world on one stage.”
Lady Gaga, Coldplay and Nicki Minaj are just a few of the acts confirmed for the I Heart Radio Festival, set to take place September 23rd and 24th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. It's sponsored by Clear Channel, the radio conglomerate.
Additionally, The Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys, Carrie Underwood and Steven Tyler are also set to appear at this inaugural I Heart Radio fest, along with Kenny Chesney, Jennifer Lopez, David Guetta, Rascal Flatts, Kelly Clarkson and John Mayer. What an impressive lineup! If you want to see these acts, but not go out to each one of their shows, you can catch 'em all in one fell swoop by heading out to Vegas for this fest.
Organizers promise that even more artists will be added to the bill over the next few weeks. Ryan Seacrest will host the event, which will stream live online and via mobile devices at IHeartRadio.com, and across the websites of all Clear Channel-owned radio stations.

'American Idol' Finale: in 60 seconds!!
While everybody was captivated by 'ALL THE REALLY BIG TALENT' 'Idol' crammed into that stuffy 2hours, there was a talent competition going on as well.
MTV summed this up just right. The actual artist they were trying to promote didn't actually speak to the wide demographics. I mean, teenage country singers? That's about as fun as a bowl of wet air soaking in hot dog water. (Y'all can have that one--that's a freebie). So in 'Idol' fashion, divert attention from the boring finalists and cram pack everything but the kitchen sink into the actual show itself. With GaGa, Spiderman, Beyonce, TLC, and anybody else who wanted to stop by to promote something here is what you may have missed.
Oh yeah, and by the way, the young country guy with the unusually deep voice and the peculiar way he holds the microphone, Scott McCreery won. I REPEAT, Carrie Underwood's 'cousin', the other country girl DID NOT WIN. (LOL)
