The lovely things I find in the back of my closet:

1. I think it’s a sign I need to start reading and working on my writing again. And how convenient. A book I’ve owned for a while, but haven’t opened yet.

2. One of my favorite pair of sunglasses. Love, how did you get “lost” in the first place?

3. Wallet from Disneyland. Can’t put much in it and shoot the wallet cost more than what I have in my wallet right now, but I heart it to death.

4. Hello Kitty. Enough said.

5. My Charlie Chaplin hat, took me forever to find one of these.

6. Comfy, comfy shoes and oh so cute.

7. Goodbye purses! I think I’m going to rock this backpack for a while.

I’m in the middle of moving and I’m finding all sorts of stuff that I forgot I had or I thought I had lost, like this old Oriënt Diver.

I don’t think I’ll wear it much, the line between hommage and just plain fake is a little too thin for my current taste but it’s still a fun watch.

I always hear “no tv for the first 2 years” because it can interfere with communication develpoment and other reasons.

Bought the Hello Kitty sticker last night in the Sanrio store in Japanese Village, where I also snapped the $300 stuffed animal below! The NSFW sticker was given to me by Violet Blue at our reading at Booksmith!

I'm not quite sure how I found this at Sanrio.com and I definitely know I'd never need one (I'm catsitting at the moment, but won't be tomorrow). At first I thought it was a paint roller and got very excited; shame of 2010 is that I did not get a chance to paint anyone's apartment. Must fix in the new year; dear world, I am available for my stellar apartment painting skills (and enthusiasm!), and I have references. I will do it for free, and if you're one of my very close friends, in my underwear even. Because I'm pretty easy to please; just stick a paint roller in my hand, put the tape on the walls (yes, you do the hard/boring parts), and I'm happy.
