Video of Obama: Stimulus Pulled Us From ‘Great Depression’

Obama the self-proclaimed student of history doesn't know his history (a usual). Fact of the matter is that the Great Depression was prolonged because of the out of control spending. All this debt that we are assuming will simply not help. What is being done right now is what led to Japan's "lost decade." It also deepened and lengthened the Great Depression. Looking back to 1939, Roosevelt's own Treasury secretary, Henry Morgenthau, had realized that the New Deal economic policies had failed. Said Morgenthau,

"We have tried spending money. We are spending more than we have ever spent before and it does not work. . . . After eight years of this Administration we have just as much unemployment as when we started. . . . And an enormous debt to boot!"

That's a quote that should be in everyone's mind right now. It's not. We haven't learned from history and are therefore doomed to repeat it.And by 'we' I mean Obama specifically and the Democratic Party in general. Which brings me to this: Obama: Stimulus Pulled Us From ‘Great Depression’

Via The Daily Chart, a reason to celebrate as in just this last century we have mostly done what God commanded Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden:

This chart pretty much shows that we have indeed subdued it but only in the last 100 years because of our God-given ability to design systems and thus make technological advancement:

And indeed it is true. As per  prior post: Communist Goals of 1963 exactly what liberals are doing to the US right now. The important ones here:

29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.

30. Discredit the American Founding Fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."

31. Belittle all forms of American culture and discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the "big picture." Give more emphasis to Russian history since the Communists took over.
