Michael Jackson tribute concert in the works, but not ALL The Jackson's are on board!

The King of Pop, Michael Jackson is finally getting a tribute concert!!  Katherine Jackson, La Toya, and brothers Tito, Marlon and Jackie have teamed up with producers Global Live Events for Michael Forever—The Tribute Concert at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, on Oct. 8.  All of the Jackson's are not on board for this event, however.  Jermaine and Randy are all for a tribute to their fallen brother, but the date is what they can't seem to see eye to eye on. They released a statement on Twitter saying they opposed the show because it will be held during the trial of Dr. Conrad Murrray, who is charged in their brother's death.

"While we wholeheartedly support the spirit of a tribute that honors our brother, we find it impossible to support an event that is due to take place during the criminal trial surrounding Michael's death,"

Katherine Jackson has stated that she will be present at the tribute on that day regardless.

"I have been approached by many people with a variety of ventures such as this. Global Live Events LLP is the first company to present me with a vision that will produce an authentic and memorable tribute that my son would love," Jackson's mother told the BBC.

There is no word as to who the performers will be or if sisters Janet & Rebbie will be involved with the tribute.

Throwback Video: Jermaine Jackson "Do what you do"

The Jacksons are by far one of the most TALENTED musical families in history!
First we had The Jackson 5, then Michael ruled the world (and still does), then Janet stepped out of the shadows on her own and took the reigns.  But along the way there were a hot or two from Rebbie and LaToya, but sometimes we forget about Jermaine Jackson.  Joe Jackson was actually grooming Jermaine to be the next big Jackson soloist in the vain of Michael.  Back in the 70's and 80's Jermaine Jackson was 'the man'!  He had huge R&B hits that some people sometimes forget.  Here is one that my brother reminded me about.  Let's take a look back at one of Jermaine's hits, 'Do what you do'
