Chris Brown comes back with a new video, 'All About You'.

The singer seems to have gotten his stride back.  Chris Brown seems to be THE 'go to' guy now as far as features.  The R&B crooner is preparing for the release of his next official single, "Wet the Bed' which features Ludacris.

Let's take it back to when HIP HOP was real and RAW!  One of the 'sickest' hip hop tracks in HIPHOP history!  You can argue the point if you like. MOBB DEEP's 'SHOOK ONES'.  Shout out to Prodigy! Shout out to Havoc!



Mobb Deep is an American hip hop duo from Queens, New York, U.S., that consists of Havoc and Prodigy. The duo is "one of the most critically acclaimed hardcore East Coast hip-hop groups." The group is best known for its dark, hardcore delivery, as exemplified by the single "Shook Ones Pt. II." Mobb Deep have become one of the most successful rap duos in hip hop, having sold over 3 million records. The majority of their albums have been critically acclaimed, in particular The Infamous, which is considered a classic. They are partially credited for the resurgence of East Coast rap in the early to mid-'90s. Havoc and Prodigy were also judges for the 7th annual Independent Music Awards to support independent artists' careers.

Game is back with new music!  This time he teams up with the R&B 'go to guy, Chris Brown for the visual to Game's new single, 'Pot of Gold'.  It will appear that Chris Brown is the man these days.  He is clawing his way back to the status he was approaching prior to the domestic incident with Rihanna.  It's good to see Game take a different approach as well.  Check out the visual.

'Dog' still on a leash! DMX was to be released today...Don't celebrate just yet.

Pioneer rapper, DMX was scheduled to be released from an Arizona jail today, but it looks like in pure DMX fashion, that will not be happening as planned.  DMX will remain in Arizona's Yuma prison longer than anticipated after he was caught with drugs while behind bars.


Yes, drugs in jail.  Apparently there are more infractions as well.  X's violations include, “drug possession, failing or refusing a drug test, smoking when he wasn’t supposed to, being disrespectful, disruptive and disorderly.” 

DMX was supposed to be released today, but it looks like he will be staying put a bit longer due to his latest violations.

Flashback Friday: Good 2 Go- "Never Satisfied"

I don't know the details of this song, but I do remember that this girl group had this ONE hit way way back.  And I am sure, like myself, most people may have thought initially that these ladies were Black. Before there was 'Dream', before 'Wild Orchid', before 'Danity Kane', there was 'Good2Go'!

New Video: Drake 'Marvin's Room'

Young Money heavy weights, Minaj, Drake & Wayne are having a busy summer already.  Minaj is white hot right now on tour with none other than Britney Spears!  Nicki's singles are still riding high on the charts.  The 'General' Liltunechi is hotly gearing for the release of 'Tha Carter IV', which has seen a few pushbacks, but in the meanwhile, the hip-hop landscape has not been absence of his presence.  Drake is busy preparing the follow-up to 2010's 'Thank Me Later'.  Although the new disc, 'Take Care' is not due until October, a single that he released has been garnering a substantial amount of attention.  'Marvin's Room' is a hot new single about a drunk phone call to a past lover.  This single is so hot, that everybody and their brother seems to want to take a stab at it from JoJo to Chris Brown.  Even though this single will not be on the new disc, Drake has released a visual for it and here it goes.

Where's Mario???? Throwback VIDEO: 'Break-Up'

Where is Mario these days!? He made a splash on ABC's Dancing with the Stars, put out an album, 'D.N.A.' that spawned the hit single 'Break-Up', then got into a little bit of hot water for ALLEGEDLY assaulting his own mother, but since then he has been M.I.A!

Well, 'D.N.A.' didn't perform so well in sales, so hopefully J. Records is still his home, and we will be getting some new music from the R&B crooner soon.  Until then, let's go back just a bit to his hit single from D.N.A., 'Break-Up' featuring Gucci Mane & Sean Garrett.
