New Music: Game feat. Chris Brown 'Pot of Gold'

(Pics courtesy of Rap Up.com)
Game is back with new music! This time he teams up with the R&B 'go to guy, Chris Brown for the visual to Game's new single, 'Pot of Gold'. It will appear that Chris Brown is the man these days. He is clawing his way back to the status he was approaching prior to the domestic incident with Rihanna. It's good to see Game take a different approach as well. Check out the visual.

Snapback Caps making a return!? New Music: Tyga- 'Snapbacks Back' feat Chris Brown
It seems that in the Hip-Hop community there has been a resurgence of the classic snapbaclk caps. You know the caps that you picked at your Uncle Smoke-Eye for wearing to the family reunion picnic. Well, you may want to dig back ion your crates and find some of those classic caps because they are making a comeback. For years, rappers have rhymed about fresh fitted caps and you can go into any NewEra store and see a plethora of styles, designs and fits. But the demand for classic snapback caps has risen. Tyga of Young Money fame was one of the 1st artist I noticed briging the whole snapback classics back. Detroit newjack rapper Big Sean of G.O.O.D. Music is another young brother that has started rocking the trend again.
'SnapBacks Back'-Tyga feat. Chris Brown

Which ever is your hat of choice seems to always be dictated by what the 'ballers' are wearing. So once more rappers start rocking the snapbacks, the fitted caps may sit on the shelf for a spell. The debate rages on. Which type cap do you prefer?

'TWIT PIC'n (Yo Nose): Celebrity PLANKING?
For the people that don't know or don't care to know what PLANKING is, this post is for you!
In case you were unfamiliar on the planking craze, the trend (which started in Japan) involves a person laying stiff, face down, on his or her stomach in an odd location -- the stranger the location, the better. Then, the photo of the person, laying like a plank in these various locations, is then posted online, to Facebook or Twitter.
The best 'planks' are when your body is perfectly flat, toes pointing downward, and your hands rigidly almost 'frozen' by your sides. In some cases your head is facing down and I have seen some look straight forward. I think there is no true etiquette to planking, you just have to be stiff and look like a board and the crazier the location the better! Take a look at some of your favorite celebs take part in this new phenomena.
Send in some of your TWIT PICS of you PLANKING! I may do a plank and post it here!

Chris Brown
Dax Shepard & Kristen Bell
Game
Slim Thug
Nick Cannon
Justin Bieber & Diggy Simmons
Gilbert Arenas- We'll give him a break for trying, but his plank is not correct. His form is off. He looks like he is about to fall, but the idea was there!
One of the all time CHAMPS at Planking is this guy:
Dwight Howard has the perfect plank form, and he has some of the oddest locations, so hands down,he is on top of his PLANK game!
It's kind of a no-brainer that a star athlete would excel in planking. You have to have good muscle control and strength to get the perfect plank right? Right!

RED HOT & Ready! BET Awards 11 FASHION!-Update w/ commentary
The big show is over, but the people are still talking about who wore what or why who wore what, and all the stops in between. The BET Awards 11 was all about the LOOK last night. Even the styling of the show was taken up a notch, so let's take a look at what the stars were wearing last night!
Kelly Rowland-Just stunning!
Kevin Hart- The host with the most! Pants a bit tight in the thigh area for my liking, but he swagged it up well during the show.
Nick Cannon- Nice, crisp look. I could rock this---MINUS the white band shoes.
Nelly- Pretty Dope. I think Nelly stole my vest!
Game-Simple-crisp. Good look with the LV belt. I'd rock this look!
Nicki Minaj- Nice-simple look for her. Goes well with the BET theme.
Eve- Wow! Looks like she would karate kick you and still be fierce while doing so. This is working for her. Shout out to my cousin Kimberly, cause Eve is trying to look like you! *inside joke*
Estelle- Love the new single, but you BROKE my heart with this get-up. I can't rock with you on this one. Still will iTune your song though.
Drake- Nice swag with this look. I was rocking with it...until the shoes. Change them, and you are still in the game Drizzy!
Diddy-Dirty Money- Hmm? *Turning page sideways, then upside down. Then putting silly putty on it, then looking at it again. Umm, white is nice in the summer. And that's all I am going to say about that.
Diddy is looking at her like he thinking "I wish you would say something crazy?"
Keri Hilson- Beautiful girl, but I have seen her look 100x better. She looks like she dressed to go get her nails done, get some Ajax, slim jims, and a plunger from The Dollar Tree, then put some gas in the jeep, then go back to the house and REALLY get GLAMMED. A bit of a downer for me. Face still on point.
Traci-Ellis Ross-Wow, there are some good genes flowing in the Ross family. Traci looks really good. Nice shoe game-can't go wrong with red. The body is bananas. Who knew 'Joan' was holding like this?
Tami Roman- Nice Fresh look. She can look a little busted at times on that show, but she looks good here! I can dig it! Evelyn probably hatin' on her as we speak. LOL
Tika Sumpter- Wow, her black is beautiful. That's what the BET slogan says.-LOL- Legs, body, face on deck! A+
Rick Ross- BOSS! That's all needs to be said!
Willow & Jaden Smith- Great to see kids doing positive things in life. Yes I get it. But I am tired of these two. LOL. I am Glad your parents let you express yourselves and wear whatever the HELL you want to. WE GET IT! Now go sit down. You two look like you represent the lollipop guild. Yeah I said it. But keep doing your thing! You got more money than me...for now... *Sinister GRIN*
Chris Brown- The man of the hour, sweeping the BET Awards last night. The thing around the neck--I don't get it- but hey do you. Congrats on all your trophies. Now just be good for the next 90 days.
Patti Labelle- Timeless beauty. Enough said.

Thoughts? Well I have a few, Willow and Jaden, I respect your family's hustle and the drive you kids have, but let some other kids win for a change. Keke Palmer should've won that one. Smiths, you have enough little trophies as is-sit down! LOL
Best Hip-Hop Male. Hold-up Yeezy, I'm going to let you finish, but this year right here, I think it should have went to somebody else. Then you don't even show up to take the trophy. Wow! Maybe because he wasn't a performer this year, he opted out. Okay.... Seems that Chris Brown won every category that he was nominated for. So it is safe to say that he is fully re-bonified now and he is sitting pretty for the moment. So Chris, do not go knock on Oprah's door and punch her in the face then run or trip Stevie Wonder up just for shits & giggles because you back on top. We know how you have a tendency to mess up your own ascent back to the top. Don't F*ck it up! They like you again. LOL.
Good to see Vick and Serena at the top again! I can definitely dig that. All the other categories seem pretty okay, but VIDEO DIRECTOR OF THE YEAR? Hmmmm, Chris Robinson is an amazing director--but this past year it seems that Colin Tilley has been the man behind all the big videos of the year. Tilley directed the 'Video of the year' visual for Chris Brown, so I just knew he had that in the bag. Right? Not in BET LAND. Congrats to Chris though. Both of em Chris Brown & Robinson. Colin Tilley, BET Awards 12 will be your year for sure!
Before I forget, the Centric Award went to Marsha Ambrosius! That was great! Her cd is amazing and she deserves all the accolades she has been getting lately. And she looks beautiful. Just don;t let her talk too much. All that British rubbish she be saying sometimes gives me a headache, but she smells good while she saying it though so that's a plus.

What's your FAVE? Top 10 BET Awards GREATEST Moments! UPDATED! #betawards
In a few hours, the biggest and brightest will flock to The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, for what has become arguably the greatest night of urban/pop music showcase. That's right, the BET Awards 11! One of the highest viewed awards show on television. It's hard to believe that BET has been putting this fete on for 11 years already! Where did the time go? There is one thing that can be said about the annual event and that is you never know just what to expect. We have come to expect the unexpected, really. We know we will see the biggest, latest and brightest stars put their best feet forward, but there is always a special twist or surprise that will have the viewers talking for days after a the water cooler. So without further fanfare and accolades, let's just take a look back at some of the most memorable BET Awards moments since its inception in 2001. Some of you may disagree about the order that these moments may fall, but at the end of the day, this is how I see it in MY mind. So take a look and pick out your faves!
10: Christina Aguilera honors Whitney Houston!
Christina wows the audience with her rendition of Whitney's
'Run to you' as Houston goes on to accept the Lifetime Achievement Award.
9:Destiny's Child offer 'Lap Dances'
Destiny's Child, offer up lapdances to 'unsuspecting' men from the audience as they perform their megahit 'Cater 2 U'. The lucky 3 were Terrence Howard, Nelly & Magic Johnson back in 2005's show.
8:'Fire & Desire' Teena Marie and Rick James reunite!
This was a spastic, off the cuff performance back in 2004, but still memorable in its originality. The two icons, friends, lovers, reunited for one night only and gave the world
'Fire & Desire' for the last time.
7:Alicia Keys embodies 'GIRLPOWER'!
Keys brings the powerhouse girl groups of the 90's to centerstage for her set at 2008's show! Alicia performs with EnVogue, SWV & fills in for Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes in TLC as they perform 'Waterfalls'.
6: FUGEE-LA The Reunion of THE FUGEES!!!
The supergroup The Fugees rocked the stage together at 2005's award show! The group has disbanded and pursued solo careers. Amidst all the rumors of bickering and hard feelings amongst the members, the group surprised all the fans when they came together as one to revisit some of their classics.

5: 'Redemption Song'- Chris Brown embodies MJ!

.
I remember being backstage ans seeing parts of this as it was going down. It was eerie at how spot on Chris came to mastering Michael Jackson's choreography. This perfromance was definitely a turing point for Chris and for the fans. I know my bestfriend BRILLION-A-MILLION is rolling her eyes so far into the back of her head right now by me saying this, but Chris really tapped into some deep-rooted emotion for this performance! This was a genuine display of loss for MJ and for everything that Brown himself had endured. This was the tribute that the fans were watiting to see since MJ's passing. And Brown so wanted to do this the year before when we lost Michael. It was magic in the moment and i do believe this was Chris' 'redemption' song. Shortly thereafter, the fans he had lost, and media re-embraced the artist back into good graces after his domestic trouble with Rihanna.
4:The Reunion of 'Good Times!
Janet Jackson Bet awards 2006 by bmjw06
It was great to see the 'kids' from 'Good Times' together again on one stage. It was PRICELESS to see Janet GLIDE across the stage to join her castmates.
3:Beyonce SLAYS BET Awards.. not once but TWICE!
If it aint broke why fix it? Beyonce and Jay-Z rock out again at 2006's fete! The hip smack is priceless!
2. Janet Speaks on behalf of the Jackson Family on Michael's passing.
Janet Jackson rend hommage à son frère aux BET... by Nouvelobs
This was so moving and touching. This shows how strong the BLACK family really is! Janet was brave and strong enough to be the voice for the Jackson Family at the untimely passing of their beloved MJ just days before the show. Stephen and crew at BET revamped the entire awards show to be a tribute to the life and times of the immortal, incomparable Michael Jackson! I applaud Janet for her strength and the BET crew for their ability to go on despite such a tremendous loss!
1. The two greatest entertainers share a stage!
I am not sure how BET managed to pull off such an epic melding of two icons, but this moment was pure magic! There are no other words to describe it. A once in a lifetime sort of thing that just happens when all the planets, stars, and universe are aligned for one night! Genius!
James was on point, MJ was on point! What else can you say? It was sheer pandemonium in the audience. Everybody was out of their seats in disbelief! The Godfather of Soul sharing the stage with the King of Pop! Epic! Timeless! Priceless. Hats off to Stephen Hill and the BET family !
Wow, did I do 10 already? I can't believe that, I have so much more! Let's add two more, in no particular order.
HONARABLE and i do mean honarable mentions!
Prince & Patti!
This moment almost did not happen. BET had been trying for years to get Prince to come to the fete to accept his Lifetime Achievement Award and in 2010, he finally accepted and was lauded by none other than Miss Patti Labelle!
!
And my last Honorable mention of the day, and this is not a diss to any of the BET AWARDS hosts--they all have been great. But my all-time fave was Mo'Nique! Mo'Nique is real, she tells it like it is and is not afraid to 'go there'. Mo'Nique shows the world that the 'big girls' can 'work it out too. Mo'Nique takes on Beyonce!
