In case you were unfamiliar on the planking craze, the trend (which started in Japan) involves a person laying stiff, face down, on his or her stomach in an odd location -- the stranger the location, the better. Then, the photo of the person, laying like a plank in these various locations, is then posted online, to Facebook or Twitter.
The best 'planks' are when your body is perfectly flat, toes pointing downward, and your hands rigidly almost 'frozen' by your sides. In some cases your head is facing down and I have seen some look straight forward. I think there is no true etiquette to planking, you just have to be stiff and look like a board and the crazier the location the better!
