Justin Bieber reaches a MILESTONE!!! Beat's GaGa & Obama!?

On July 14 2011 Justin Bieber joined Lady Gaga by hitting the 11 million mark in Twitter followers.   Guess who is in the # 3 spot?

Well the 3rd place goes to some guy you may know....TPOTUS: Barack Obama, of course!!!
Justin Bieber now has 11 Million followers on Twitter.  He still is not #1 however.  Lady GaGa is well over 11 million while Barack Obama is a a 'measly' 9 million.

Justin Bieber was at the 2011 ESPY Awards with Selena Gomez while his Twitter count was climbing to that mark!  Beiber learned about it later and when he did he had this to say... via Twitter of course:

"#11MillionBeliebers! I LOVE YOU ALL!! THANK YOU....tonight was already a fun great night and now it is even better. THANK U THANK U THANK U."

In related news, it was only back in May that Lady Gaga was the first to hit the 10 million mark in twitter followers. Bieber followed a few weeks later and at one point was only about 350,000 followers behind but with the success of her album Born This Way she's began gaining more followers per day than he was. Though that trend may be reversing again, she's now over 600,000 followers ahead. The stats come courtesy 'Famecount.'

 You may ask, what is 'Famecount'?  'Famecount' is an online site that "...generates statistics across Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, to help you track the trends and rank the stars." In YouTube views the site reports Bieber leading  with Lady Gaga in 2nd place. It is a close race since the release of Born This Way.
These numbers  include views of every song the artist has on YouTube and indicate many are using YouTube to watch these two perform their songs. At present, Justin Bieber has 1.75 billion YouTube Views while Lady Gaga has 1.725 billion. You read that right - billion. Rihanna is 3rd with 1.36 billion and Eminem 4th with 1.29 billion.  Can you believe these numbers?  I did not know so many people were obsessed with Bieber, GaGa & RiRi!

 

'TWIT PIC'n (Yo Nose): Celebrity PLANKING?

For the people that don't know or don't care to know what PLANKING is, this post is for you!

In case you were unfamiliar on the planking craze, the trend (which started in Japan) involves a person laying stiff, face down, on his or her stomach in an odd location -- the stranger the location, the better. Then, the photo of the person, laying like a plank in these various locations, is then posted online, to Facebook or Twitter.

The best 'planks' are when your body is perfectly flat, toes pointing downward, and your hands rigidly almost 'frozen' by your sides.  In some cases your head is facing down and I have seen some look straight forward.  I think there is no true etiquette to planking, you just have to be stiff and look like a board and the crazier the location the better!  Take a look at some of your favorite celebs take part in this new phenomena.

Miley Cyrus Takes A Swipe At Justin Bieber’s Career: ‘You’ve Got An Easy Job!’

Miley also revealed she doesn’t take time to memorize her lines and even made fun of Justin’s voice — is she kidding?!

Miley Cyrus is going to tell it like it is whether you like it or not! The 18-year-old pop star appeared on Australia’s online TV show The Dirt and held nothing back when asked to reminisce about her March 6SNL impersonation of Justin Bieber. When asked if it was hard to portray the 17-year-old she laughed and responded:

“I had so much fun doing that (SNL). Justin Bieber was so much fun and when I was rehearsing I was like … ‘I’m kinda nervous,’ I didn’t think I was good at it and then I got the wig on and put the clothes on and I was like ‘being Justin Bieber is easy! You’ve got an easy job, it’s easy to look cute with the little hair and the baggy pants.”

But when asked if Justin would do a good job playing her — the former Disney star made sure to say it would be much harder for him.

“I don’t think he could do it,” she quipped. “He’d have to work on getting his voice deep enough. It’s easy for me to get my voice higher.” Ouch! We know Miley is like a big sister to Justin but this sarcasm is a little much don’t you think?

Miley went on to reveal that her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth is amazed that she doesn’t take the time to practice or memorize her lines before going on set.

“He’s like you never read your script and never read your lines,” Miley says. “I’m like ‘I know, I can’t do that. I can’t sit there’ and people always are different, study study and ‘I’m like I learn it on the day.’ Otherwise I over think it otherwise. I don’t think people realize how much we’ll be doing a scene and they’ll completely change it and you’ll have to learn it within five minutes.”

Clearly Miley just does what she wants … bondage outfits and all. Do you think Miley needs to take her work more seriously?

Will Selena Gomez Be Justin Bieber’s Date To The CMT Awards?

Things between Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have really been heating up! 

Do you think she will go with him to the CMT Awards this week?

This summer season, young lovers Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have taken their relationship all across the continent. The pair has been inseparable since 17-year-old Justin returned from his international tour — so will 18-year-old Selena make the trek with him to Nashville for the CMT Music Awards Wednesday, June 8?

Justin and Selena enjoyed a tropical vacation in Maui and visited each other’s family in Texas and Canada, so we wouldn’t be surprised if the couple made the trek to Nashville this week.

According to source, it has been known that Selena isn’t scheduled to attend — however, that’s what Justin said before surprising everyone at the MTV Movie Awards June 5.

That said, Selena is scheduled to play a concert on Friday, June 10 in Santa Monica so she could face some time commitment issues if she does decide to support Bieber in his first ever CMT nod.
