My book reviews

This is a fun little review I got sent to me by my publisher, the book reviewers that normally write up on my book give ages for the reader and .......well when people ask me the reading age i am at a loss to say ......

..... well as i just wrote it and not planned for any age group .....

...I usually say Young Adult .......  er............    why? .......  well i talk about high school life, embarrassment and what it is like being a girl in a world full of strange creatures called adults. 

OK that normally attracts two types of people .......

1. Teen Age girls that like vampire books and discussions of thing to wear that is both hot and can get a vampire boy more interested in you than just your blood type.

2. Adults that like a different look into a vampire world that is not all about sex and carnage ....... someone should tell the film industry that just because you get turned into a vampire it does not mean you first desire is to show the world your boobs ........

Alright 3 types of people as I expect young teenage girls talking about underwear and what to do with a boyfriend will also attract paedophiles .............. not that I am stopping them reading it but hell they will be so disappointed if they think they will get any kind of sexual thrill as it rearly ain't that sort of book .............. then again I have heard they once stopped parents photographing their own children at a nativity play in case paedophiles got to see the photos!........

....... for those not knowing what a nativity play is let me explain christian schools get children to dress up as Arabs to celebrate the birth of Christ ..........

5 - 7 year old little boys and girls covered from head to toe in a blanket ............ apparently Arabs wore blankets 2000 years ago ................... 

Anyway it was another bit of political correctness gone mad as as you could hardly see a face ........... paedophiles may be sick perverts but you need to be delusional to get any thrill out of it.............. look it looks like they are all wearing Burqas ......... if you are a lucky pervert you may see part of a face and a pair of shoes !!!

Sorry got carried away what was i saying?

Yes my book is in fact aimed at all ages, the younger teen will get the funny everyday life of being a teen vampire .......where as the adult reading it will get all the funny bits the kids miss.......... from my blogs you will know i can be a little cynical ................ well my book is cynical with a capital SIN.............. as real human world issues are added into the text ..................

lots of stuff is ambiguous ............. meaning the teens will get some of the adult humour the adults miss .............. 

................ teens know a hell of a lot more that is going on than you give them credit for!

my book is very.....very different ............... and not for just kids .........

My Interview with Read for your Future

1.) Why did you Decide to write this book?

It all started when my publisher Nicholas Reardon of Reardon Publishing was looking for authors to write some paranormal novels, he wanted something funny and wanted a new undiscovered author, he even put little adverts on sites such as goodreads.

What was needed was a book with a new take the Vampire story and that is where I came in, the way I wrote the book is that I am living in this wonderful crazy world, so you get to know the world from my reaction to it.

2.) How did the cover come about?

The front of the book has the title in dripping blood and shows me as a 18th century dressed vamp in a graveyard, where as the back is in modern clothing, designed by The Manga Artist Heby Sim and I think she has done a wonderful job of it.

3.) So what is your next project and can you tell us anything about a sequel to Fangs Rule?

My next project is a book called “The Night Eternal” and tells the story of my life as a teenage vampire, Fangs Rule a girls guide to being a vampire hints at what a strange world I live in and with my next book all the hints are explained as you will follow me slowly making my way in a world where biting someone can be a sign of affection!

4.) Do you have a daytime job or are you a writer full time?

Sometimes I feel that Facebook is my unpaid fulltime job, but I do other things until I can become a world famous and rich full time author.

5.) Do you read a lot and If so what?

Yes a lot…………… and I mean a lot my mind is always active and so I need a good book to relax with, it could be a funny vampire book or something deeper like the Art of War by Sun Tzu

6.) How did you learn to be a vampire? Were you taught?

Now you really do need to buy my book as it will explain all of this to you ……hehehehehe

Ok here is a taste of what being a vampire is like:

…………….. Being A vampire sounds like it should be a cool thing to be as a teenage girl, like sleeping during the day and enjoying a night life with friends, huh……. no one warned me that it also meant having to suffer Teenage hormones for so long! I am stuck at a 16, yes 16 and the years may pass but I am the same age! Frozen in time until my so called loving vampire family think I am mature enough to let me grow up.

 

Being a vampire should be fun, I am a blood curdling denizen of the night and yet my Aunt paints my bedroom pink yes pink! And buys me underwear in the same yuck colour but with little bats on!!! as if I was 6!

 

And as to the rules, so many rules, and vampire uniforms! Guys have long fancy cloaks that they are always tripping over and as to the girls uniform, it is a 18th C Nightdress!

 

The old male vampires expect a girl to walk about wearing just a see through nightdress with no underwear on!! as if that is ever going to happen, they have really seen far too many horror films! And the next one to suggest it to me will get a very hard bite!

 

Life as a teenager is normally a living hell but even more so when you have fangs. The world is just out to get me, and not just by people trying to stake me because I have better teeth than they do!

One last thing. We ask all our guest authors Do you collect anything personally?

Well I have lots of vampire books and films but as to collecting well yes Anime films, I just love watching anime films and have hundreds so it must be a collection, I am sure it is where I get my very strange humor from.

Now as you may know we Vamps have our own website ……… well it stops us having to talk with the food ……….. well it is off putting ……… you trying chatting to a cow then order a nice juicy steak  ……………..

I have two ……….they are on my chest and mounted in the traditional horizontal way as they are side by side …………… and unless it is cold they do very little on their own …….. Surprisingly I can go for hours at the time forgetting they are even there.

My girlfriends all tell me this is very normal and they get the same questions and requests for photos………..

Going back to fangbook when guys show interest in me I normally ask them to prove it and this one guy did……..!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.......... he sent me a photo of his best feature…………. HMG …….I am still blushing ……….. must be twice the size of any normal guy !!!!!! …………not that I am an expert you understand………. No please do not get me wrong size does not mater to a girl ………it is personality .er………a caring heart ………..or in my case a very large bank balance along with uncontrollable urges to give me expensive jewelry ………….

But when I told my girlfriends and they all demanded to see it ……………….. er…...only for interest you understand ………….that’s all ………….. ok………. And I was correct from the …………… sighs ……and screams……… and other exclamations which I wont go into here…………. It was bigger than any of them had ever seen before ……….not that that interests and girl you understand……….. but heck…………..he should now discover a sudden influx of girls asking to be his friend on Fangbook ……well he also has one hell of a cute butt……… 

Yes as a guy he has some of the largest FANGS I have even seen ………….. any girl would be happy if their boyfriend was so gifted in the fang department……

Girls sleeping with girls .!!!!!! Sleeping with a girl for the first time.

I promised to let you have all the details of my trip to Asia and well ……………..one of the most embarrassing things happened at night.

HMG well I never thought I would find myself sleeping with another girl I mean like together not just in the same room but in the same bed and then discover she had roving hands !!! and it was no where as exciting as when guys talk about what happens………

God this is so embarrassing to say   ….well ………… there is a first time for everything ……. Forget the worry about the embarrassment of being a girl trying to buy condoms in a shop just remember to buy ear plugs ……………… heck did she snore!

Guys are always so interested to know what goes on when two girls sleep together, (perverts !!!!) ……well anyway I will tell you ! …………. It was well kinda .er…….different ……...and well I did not do anything much myself………….

As to what strange urges happen well it is true I did get some strange urges when her hand slowly moved up my leg ……….. The urge was to try and sneak away and get a hotel room………. On my own !!!

It was not that I even knew her ……..well…ok……. she is a cousin ………… and she seamed to take a liking to me during the day ……..but liking each other as cousins means shopping together and perhaps sharing an ice cream in the mall ………… moving into my bed on the pretence that the aircon was too powerful and she was cold…………. Well that is something I would have expected more from a guy…….

All I had on were sleeping panties and a tee …………. All she had on was a tee ……… and it was a shock when she put a hand on my upper thighs and even more of a shock when she pushed her face into my boobs……giving out a little giggle…. What am I a pillow !! ……….heck…….  I just hoped she was not going to bite !……….  The only way I could stop her from getting ever more intimate was to hug her …………and so that is what I ended up doing until she fell asleep, then I discovered that I was now trapped in the bed with miss roving hands ……….. Could not move without waking her and so that was my first time sleeping with a girl………

Er………..perhaps I should point out that my cousin is 6 years old and her mother was sleeping the other side of the room in another bed with my cousins two other sisters ………

Well even at that young age I still think her morals are very poor to sleep with someone just because I shared an ice cream with her …………….

I had to hug her all night ! every time I stopped she started to fidget ………… God I have had boyfriends that have needed less physical attention.
